2022 Lakulish Yoga and Health Retreat Youth Camp (In Person)
The theme for the Youth Camp this year will be the "Embracing Diversity". America is a land of diversity in terms of ethnicity, social groups, economic status, religions, educational abilities, and opportunities. India likewise is made up of diverse groups of people who have individual religious practices, social norms, and political points of view. This year the camp will focus on empowering children to claim their individuality while creating space for others to have differing points of view. Each child has their own set of "superpowers" that simultaneously make them very special, yet very different from everyone else. How do we find the best common ground that allows each child to shine in their own right?
This educative and character building camp has many activities to offer:
Morning nature walks
Classes on Life lessons for purposeful living
Sanatan Culture, spirituality, and material science
Diet and cooking, health and happiness, sangeet, prayer
Art and craft, sports, outing, campfire, and much more relaxing activities.
We emphasize a process of group projects and communication that enhances self-discovery in the participants to help them shape their own understanding of the ancient paradigms from the Indian culture. We hope that each camper will come away from this dynamic experience to be more inspired, empowered, knowledgable, and motivated in their lives. The camp will be conducted under the guidance of Dr. Manojbhai, Dr. Pallaviben, and many other devoted volunteers. The camp leaders will help support the various discussion sessions, activities, and programs. This year we will focus on stories about the female saints of India to shape the educational and ethics part of the program. The week is designed to provide maximum participation for each camper to allow them to learn, explore, and develop greater confidence in group settings.

Since the space is limited, please make a decision and register early to avoid disappointment.
We are closely monitoring information on the Coronavirus Pandemic and will ensure that the North Carolina state requirements for pandemic measures are in place for the youth camp this year. This year we are requiring all campers to have been vaccinated prior to attending camp or provide a medical certificate if the child is unable to be vaccinated. We will send an announcement to all registered campers prior to the event to inform both campers and parents of any additional special requirements for attendance.
